Standard Spring ratings - Racing Reds
Discussion
Don't know!
Standa3d rates are about 275 front and 325 rear.
You really need at least + 20% on these figures as the standard setting is too soft.
If you acquired the car with those dampers, they could be anything as suppliers quite often ask what you want from the car and spec the springs accordingly.

Thanks for your response.
I have put them on the car since i got it by didn't ask what the ratings were.
Can anyone recommend a fast road / some tack day spring set up as a starting point? I have already managed to grind exhaust joints and anti roll bar mounts to within an inch of their life!?!

Neil Garner supplies 400 front and 325 rear, that is the correct way round also - higher front rate than rear !!

Edited to add: If you're grounding exhaust & roll bar, i would suggest you have "ride-height" too low which will also mean your camber/castor angles are not optimum. Being too low is not a result of spring rates but where you set the static spring collars for ride height. You should ensure the wishbones are parallel to the ground. Do an advanced search to see opinions of what's optimum.
