I've noticed recently that when the rear wheels spin I'm getting axle tramp. I'm sure this wasn't the case last summer... Are my rear shocks shagged? Could this be connected with the fact that twice on my journey back from Donington I managed to ground the car in dips through the hilly stuff? (Once I grounded something metal, the other time it just felt like I hit the bump stops) Any wisdom is, as usual, appreciated.

Marshy good to see you back on the road, engine ok now? axle tramp usually caused by something loose ie bushes or severely buggered dampers

What's axle tramp? Sounds like a 70's rock band.

Not so much a bad 70s rock band as a combination of Guns'n'Roses' lead singer and a member of the soap-dodging fraternity that find Cambridge such an agreeable place to urinate. Edited by Marshy on Friday 6th April 02:24
