Falken tyres - first impressions
Discussion
All,
I have recently fitted Falken 452s to the Chim as a replacement for the old Toyos on the rear.
I must say, I am really impressed - after the initial scrub off of the release agent (or 'scenery accelerator' as it is sometimes called), I found that the tyres gave really good grip.
I have stock suspension (and stock everything else really) and it really corners, (and as it is MK here) & 'roundabouts', really well.
I wasn't sure of the pressures I would need, so after a trawl through the forum, and reading various posts, I opted for 25 psi on the rears.
Really good value for money and a very good alternative to Toyos for 'moderate' road use.
Cheers
Nosh.

Nothing wrong with the 17" setup ,later found the 4 wheel alignment was set up for track days.Got 16" on the front with 225/45/16 ,drives just the same..The 17" front wheels do look better, due to the design of the pro race wheels the 16" do look a little odd... but it is closer to the standard set up but 1" larger front and rear..
