Lotus Elise vs TVR Chimaera, a little un-staged & impartial beauty contest for you all
Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin:
A scorching hot Sunday afternoon Chimpafrolic is driving home from Norwich.
Chimpafrolic stops to fuel up his Chim in Thetford and pulls up behind Lotus Elise at the pumps.
Elise man, (probably suffering from that inadequate 4 cylinder feeling) is trying so hard to pretend he hasn't seen the fantastic TVR beast that's just arrived in all it's thunderous glory.
Random bloke comes across the forecourt directly towards me, walks right past the little Lotus and says:
"FANTASTIC CAR MATE"
Elise man looks up with a face full of so much disappointment & jealously I almost felt sorry for him
So, as confirmed by the general public:
A TVR Chimaera has ten times more visual impact than a Lotus

I feel it appropriate to comment as i have had both,
I have never had a car that handled like the Elise it was fantastic (series 1 "V" reg) it went round corners like it was on rails all the time.......................BUT it was rather gutless and lacked any power till you had it spinning at 5k and above, tight twisty roads nothing would beat it i think
