removing the silencer from old trevor.
My tail pipes have been looking a bit "dangly" for a while, and started to squeek constantly, so i decided today was a good opportunity to take the system off while i had the car in the air doing the diff oil.
so i got it off after a lot of grunting and swearing getting one stuck bolt out of the silencer support plate... and it has cracked around where both pipes exit.
bit of a rummage behind the garrage and an old Mini exhaust centre pipe later.. i have now got myself a streight-through system...
Not got it back on yet (still drainig diff oil, takes ages!), could be interesting :-D
