Help - Chim won't start!
Discussion
Hi all,
Took the Chim out for a drive today and no problems at all. Got it home and the fan was running, so left the ignition on until it went through its cycle. Bout 15 mins later, went to restart to put into the garage, and as I put the ignition on the fan kicked in again but nothing when turning the key! Fuel pump primes as normal, but when trying to start, nothing at all (no clicks or anything from starter). When trying again, fuel pump primed again, but then heard a strange noise from the same area, as if fuel was running back??
Any ideas people?
Many thanks in advance

Could be hot start problem, but what I find strange is the fan kicking in after the car has stood for 15 minutes, take away the heat source (the engine running) and even a tvr will cool down to below the point that the fans will kick in,something wrong with that that needs checking out.
first thing to check would be the voltage from the battery, if it is only slightly down the extra heat around the engine will reduce the voltage to the starter motor.
May also be worth checking the 100amp fuse and holder, may be limiting the charge the battery is getting.

Thanks for the replies guys!
Will see if she starts this morning. I'm thinking it may not have been 15 mins (gf reckons more like 5 lol) - but the car was stood on the drive in nearly 30deg sunshine! Temp should be OK, went to Sillystone and back last weekend and temp never moved, so can't see a prob there.
I though about 100A fuse but not hot start - something to get looking at this week then!
Thanks again
