Was all a-ok until about 1 mile from home when on lifting the clutch in 1st gear she just felt rough. No strange noises, just a bit grindy and a bit slow to take off. Into 2nd gear and I get the same rough very mild juddery-mushy. Clutch was changed a mere 10k miles ago so there should be plenty left. Not had a chance to take a look, but I reckon I'll need to take a squint at the hydraulics.
Anyone have any pearls of wisdom?

If the clutch is juddering (or stinky though slipping) then it's more likely the friction material and/or cover giving up I expect.
Hydraulic failure would result in difficulty disengaging. Does the clutch drag at all?
Easy way to check master cylinder leak would be to look in the footwell for fluid...
Hope it's not too much of a headache/cost to fix!

Hmmmm.......curiouser than curious. Got a chance to check out the tiv tonight. Checked all fluids, no leaks from cylinders so I start her up and put her in and out of gear. Drive off and everything is a-ok. Take her for a spin and no troubles until about 10 miles where the engine feels lumpy and she tries to cut out when out of gear. Smacks of lazy stepper motor......so will clean up at the weekend and see what happens.
Thank god it wasn't the flux capacitor ;0)
