Hi all

Just joined in, having been a lurker for a bit.

A big thanks to PH, it's a great site. Loads of useful info and banter. Bought my car last year through PH classifieds and dicovered loads of useful stuff - like best places to get the car serviced (just been to Peninsula, who get a big thumbs up)and imtermittant probs (starter motor not quite what it ought to be)

Just posted half way through an existing thread on 'wooden steering wheels' - which wasn't the best place for me to say hello.

Based in Soton, so big to all who ply the roads of Hampshire.

I've got lots of piccies on PC, but am not sure how you get them onto the profile page. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I owned my S2 for a number of years and it was really good. It was a low miler (25K ish)when I sold it through David Gerald a few years back. I saw a J plate S3 on my way to Bournemouth on Friday, and I still think they look great cars. After selling the S2 (instantly regretted), it was just a case of saving up a few pennies and them waiting for the right Chim to come along. So August last year I picked up the Chim from Fareham and haven't looked back (well it's not very easy to do with the roof down anyway is it ). The Chim is a lot tighter in comparison with the S2, and I think a style that's going to be regarded as a classic in years to come.

Meantime, my golden rule is - lid off at every opportunity and a to all passing Tiv drivers.
