What have I really got??

Went to Europarts today to get some K&N filter cleaning stuff (free to K&N filter owners as well) and whilst I was at it, I asked about the price of a water pump....

The guy looked on his pooter screen, with me leaning over, and as he typed in the reg, the engine size came out as a 4.3....

Now, I am not jumping to conclusions here, but how could I find out exactly what engine I have??

The plenum badge has 400 on it...

IT may have started life as a 4.3, I suppose??

Any ideas?

if you post the chassis number I'm sure someone could check for you. I assume youve checked to see what it says on the V5 already........

ahhh - it does....

"Model - 4 ltr Chimaera"

And it also has paint codes and other ifo (key nos.)

Nope - sending the Mrs to pick it up - some of us have to work....

Well, Mrs picked up filter cleaning kit from K&N and they charged a tenner!

Still, better than the $42 from Motorserve (and Halfords didnt have any)

2 part kit - 1 bottle of 'solution' for washing the filter clean (just done that) and spray oil to re-charge (their words, not mine) the filter....
