Hi every one i have just bought (on Friday) my first TVR, and what a car it is, this is very sad i know but i have washed and polished it twice in 2days!!!! i thought thoese days were long dead and buried, but now awake with a vengace. I am also very happy because my dubious but much loved wifey likes it as well. Thanks to Steve the previous owner who kept the Chim in good order. :-)

Good on yer bloke, nice choice and no shame in polishing. I too had to give up bikes. As for noise, has it got power steering?

Hi macdeb, yes it has power but the squeak comes for the top switch gear area and has had WD40 or something sprayed on it before, i'm wondering if it has a dried out nylon bearing in that area
