Can anyone please confirm that the threaded studs mounted into the bonnet will unscrew from captive nuts?

I've tried locking 2 nuts together and putting some force behind them but am worried that they may be bolts that are bonded into the fibreglass and want to confirm I'm not going to break something.

Any tips on aligning the bonnet would also be gratefully received.

The studs are bonded into the bonnet.

Is your alignment problem bonnet too far to one side, bonnet too far forward or bonnet crooked - i.e. uneven shutlines?

Thanks Ged. I thought they were bonded. It just struck me that if they were captive nuts and the bolts could be removed it would be the easiest way of removing the bonnet.

I just need to play with the Bonnet alignment but it has moved down my priority list today as one of the metal cabinets has fallen off the garage wall and hit the wing and bonnet banghead
