When I lock the car with the fob, the indicators flash twice, and I hear four bleeps from the alarm.

Pretty sure it's always flashed the indicators, but I don't remember it ever bleeping?

Is this normal behaviour, or have I triggered something?

TIA

hmmm, mine bleeps (twice or three times with the indicators) if I've not closed something properly (eg boot, door etc), but never four....

Thanks chaps.

Last time my car was in having work done we added a rubber "stop" under the left hand top corner of the bonnet to stop some of the vibration - that maybe now means the bonnet contact is not being closed properly.

Don't suppose anyone knows where the bonnet contact is .....

The bonnet contact is a Ford door switch mounted next to the bonnet catch itself, under the plastic cover. The boot one is part of the Ford boot lock.
