Hi

Does anyone know where I can get a new set of bolts for the front timing cover on my engine?

Two of them had to have the heads drilled off when I replaced the cam, so I need a new set for the rebuild. I tried the well know online auction site wink but to no avail.

All the engine bolts appear to be imperial sizes and the two I need have flanged heads (insert your own funny comment!)hehe

Its a '95 Serpentine engine (10 bolt heads).

BTW if anyone is thinking of doing their own cam replacement and needs a few tips please get in touch, it's pretty involved and very time consuming but interesting work. It also helps if you have arms like Mr Tickle!!

Cheers

There is normally always some advertised on ebay. But if that has failed try, RPI or Real Steel.

And......erm......flanged heads are only integral washers, so apart from making up your own jokes, you could use plain bolts (of a suitable grade) and washer/s subject to requirements.
