Have hesitated in posting my rebuild spec however time has come:
New V8 Dev 5.0 short motor
500 Heads reworked and with bulleted guides
Pre-cats removed
Manifold ported and matched to heads and trumpet base
Trumpet base with 45mm trumpets
72mm Plenum
Smooth bore induction
Stealth Cam
Uprated injectors
MS2 - No dizzy, No AFM, coil packs and wasted spark, fully mappable fuel & ignition
Expect about 350bhp (plus)At the fly........... And torque to match
Might have missed a couple of things, can't wait to get the old girl back, hopefully in about four weeks. I think she might be a fairly quick Chim
Will just need a new hat

What extra power will you achieve with the uprated injectors?I have a very similar setup as you but running standard green band injectors..I do have a adjustable fuel regulator.Mine is producing 339.5 bhp..What is the green band limit.
I thought it was 340hp Daz

Probably like yourself, if you're going to do it, then do it..... Lots of other options about but this one ticks all the boxes, at least for me

and it's just going on and on - big brakes mean bigger wheels and that's a can of worms. Radtec rads. allegedly prone to cracking around the mounts.....is the driveline going to break up with 450ftlbs etc. etc. etc. etc.

WHY ARE YOU MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF 0.5HPcome on tell me about the injectors.I know they will put more fuel in ..Do the green band have there limitations.I surpose if the injectors are chenged it means more tuning..Rob did not mention injectors to me !

Daz, just looked at my notes and what I can tell you is they're 'uprated high flow injectors'. There's a description on the V8Dev website under 'Injection'. I recall upgrading the injectors on my Sierra RS Cosworth, IIRC the standard ones were good up to about 300bhp but if you chipped higher than that the standard injectors became a restriction.
