Morning all, I have had this annoying creaking/cracking noise whenn I pull out of my drive which is on a little slope, or when going over uneven road surface, I have replaced the shocks and bought some Steve Heath drop link(not fitted yet) can anyone shed some light on what might need to be replaced ?

I had something similar - worse after a run.

Solved by spraying the suspension joints with WD40 (be careful about getting any on the brakes)

Check the ARB mounting plates welded on the radius arms. When, like you plan to, I changed to Mr Heath's rose-jointed versions, I discovered breaks in the welds, so reinforced and re-welded the plates - Noise gone. It did, at the time, sound horribly like a drive-shaft related problem.

Ok new Gaz Golds fitted new ARB bushes and SH drop links fitted yesterday the noise has not completely gone, much better though. any thoughts on what I might need to change next ?

On another note any ideas what settings are best for Gaz shocks ?
