Advice on a clutch change

A mate has just bought a 1994 TVR Chimera 4.0 and it needs the clutch replacing, can somone advice on the part numbers needed, best place to get the parts from and also what the best way to go about it is?
Is it easy to just lift engine and box out through the front (when the bonnet is off) or can you take the box of the back of the engine from underneath.
Does anyone do a user, haynes type manual for these cars yet,
Or is their people that do this job cheap in the Portsmouth area.
Any advice would be of great help,

Do the box from underneath, tight but it's the way to do it. I bought a complete uprated clutch kit from RPI engineering for £120!!!

Tis a drop the gearbox from underneath. Worth replacing the release arm and release bearing and waiting till you have the thing apart before buying the bits as there has been some variation. Don't fit an SD1/Rover kit as it will not last.

Clutch Gearbox removal is covered in the bible. Not that complicated but just awquid and fiddly.
