I have a spare pair of covers that I would like refurbed in a hard wearing finish.

What's the best/sensibly priced option?

I don't mind posting but Surrey/South London would be convenient.

Just thought, might as well do the plenum as well!

Any ideas?

Now that I am putting a 5.0 lump in, shouldn't they be done in lilac rofl.

I know the rocker covers are purple/lilac on the 500s but I've never seen a purple plenum which I am planning to do my big bore plenum as part of my winter project.

Standard powder coating is fine for the rocker covers. My local powder coaters did these for me:

Did you remove the finish on the raised bits?

Thanks fella.

We don't talk about the raised bits, they took a very very long time with various grades of sandpaper and a block of wood. I was offered the option by powder coaters to machine off the powder coat from the raised bits which in wish I had have taken.

The colour was to match the blue silicone coolant pipes:

The one in the picture is indeed a chrome powder coated breather. I do however also have an aluminium version to fit from point cnc which is very nice.
