Hi all,

just been boasting about how the volvo has let me down again, and the unreliable TVR has come to the rescue, and the bloody thing has had a hissy fit due to me probably not paying it enough attention.

Anyway i just went to turn the lights of by pushiong the button as normal and the switches vanished into the dash!!! minor technicality

obviously neeed to remove the center dash part with the light switches and stereo in, but whats the best glue to stick the switches back to the panel and the center panel back to the center dash.

Thanks Mark

You need to remove the radio and you will see four screws, two left & two right at the side of opening where the radio was. These screws secure the panel and the switches are retained by the brackets which the screws pass through.

If the switches have "disappeared" into the dash, they may have just "unclipped" from the brackets, or the bracket(s) have unglued themselves The brackets are bonded to the panel, usually by araldite. Whatever, you will need to remove the radio panel. Do make a note of what ribbon cable you remove from where!!

I would also disconnect battery/power to prevent shorting/fuse blowing!!
