This is strange one

Having driven all the way back from SantaPod, about a mile from home I got a miss fire. Put the car away and thought I will look at that another time.
Yesterday was driving fine for half an hour or so then it started again, not all the time but intermitant and when under load.
So this morning thought I would take the plugs out to have a look. Then noticed that the heat shield on the underside of the bonnet was hanging down and worked out that when the bonnet was closed it would be lying across the distributor, took a closer look and found burn/scorch marks on it. Glued it back up and no more missfire.
Happy that it was no more than that.

As for me, a little more complex, I am reassembling my 4.6 so I can put it up for sale to make room for the new motta, I look forward to our next meeting
