The Story So far

My Chimaera 450 developed a tappet / follower noise tried to book into local TVR dealer, told cant look at it untill july ! ( what Service )

Took it to Tvr specialist found lobes wearing on cam plus 2 hyd followers worn Need new cam and followers

Sorted i thought But TVR power are on stock take and can't despatch any thing untill Monday
( What Service AGAIN )

I am booked on ferry for le mans next Wednesday looking forward to trip in Tvr

Any suggestions apart from buy a car with better back up !Any one want a ferry ticket ?

I recently had Peninsula change the cam in my Griff 500 for a V8Dev performance one.My old OEM cam,which was in good condition ( car has only done 15K miles)was left at Peninsula - worth a call to Neil - even if my cam is no longer there/not suitable they may have others which have been swopped out for the many upgrades they have recently done.

Peninsula where the dealer that could not look at it untill july but i will try to speck to Richard Mayo tommorow
