Hi Alex, I see the P404 requires adjustable pushrods/rocker gear as it uses solid followers (something to do with the ramp angle). I got the impression that the P404 is the same grind as the H404 but I'm probably wrong.. Guess I'll save further questions till I can speak to the man himself

Just spoke to Rob, we're looking at the Crower cams, specifically;

Also, don't know how to do multiple quotes in one post so sorry for all the posts guys..
Alex, What Pete and Derek said
The build is pretty much specced up, it's basically a case of peak power versus torque. I don't get to drive her very often, and when I do it's all about fun, very, very little town driving, it's mostly hooning
Having said that, I don't want something that's only driveable above 3500-4000 rpm... I'm open to all views, but as I said before, I'll go with what Rob recommends... was just looking for other peoples experiences with the 'hotter' cams... Appreciate all the input guys, just wish I understood it

Well thats really helpfull
Rob said Stealth and that was it for me
But we've changed the spec a bit... (forged pistons, higher CR), Then Alex suggests P404, then you guys come up with half a dozen weird cam numbers that mean nothing to me... If I drop by two (based on V8D cams) thats an MC1 something thingy, which is milder than the Stealth... WTF's a Crower anyway ? I'm really confused
One thing's for sure though Derek, I'll whip your ass at the pod when I get there

That may be so. But lets worry about the cars and the racing first.
I am confident once my MS is mapped i will run mid 12's off gas and mid 11's ona 100 shot.
So there is something for you to aim for.
Oh and you can be the one wearing the gimp mask when the whipping starts
