Hi Lads,

Can anyone recommend a good leather cleaner/restorer?
I'm cleaning up the interior of my 93 Chim and have had reasonable results from some spray on leather cleaner (cant think of the name at the moment), trouble is its just not removing ingrained dirt in the cracks etc.
Any ideas?

Hi JC,
How are you planning to tackle the centre leather section, dash area and door sides?Mine are a bit grubby but wouldn't have a clue where to start with removing these pieces. Would you consider using the FC product on the bits where they sit currently? (seats I assume should be fairly straightforward to remove)

got quoted 400 to refurb all the cream leather (vinyl?) in mine.

I've used one of these too & the results are very good. Everything I tried prior didn't really work in lifting the ingrained dirt. Don't rub too hard as it's abrasive & use leather conditioner after......Gliptone.

Be aware that probably most of the leather in the car isnt actually leather, as in mine is half leather and only the seat are, the rest is vinyl, console, dash, door cards etc
