Handbrake warning lights

The red P & I warning lights have decided to stay lit, even when handbrake is fully off. Can anyone point me in the direction where I might find the switch t hat is presumably sticking on, please?

its also connected to the brake fluid! check level! the hand brake switch is under the centre consel take it right out then there is a panel is held in with self tapping screws you`ll then find a little white plastic switch unplug it and see if the light goes out

Thanks Paul, will do. Brakes worked fine on the 'ring, and it was after that the light came on.
Came all the way home from the 'ring with it lit....
