New owner - some questions...
Discussion
Well guys, thanks for all your help!
I am now a proud owner of a (clean) 400!
Wasn't overly keen on the condition of the 450's I saw.
I still have a grin on my face from the drive home last night.
But now... I have a couple of questions:
1. My hazard warning lights flash at a crazy speed when I hit the button - whats that all about? Flasher Unit?
2. The heater blower seems to be hot all the time out the bottom vents, and cold out the windscreen vents? (I'm guessing the dial with the dots - right is hot?
3. The lead for the cd changer to the head unit is broker, is it easy enough to find a replacement? Can I use it with a newer model pioneer head unit? WHat kind of "route" does the lead take through the car from the boot?
4. No owners manual - can I get this from a breakers yard etc? What am I likely to pay?
Thanks again Guys!

Congratulations and welcome...I think I can say welcome, only had mine 2 weeks!
Ok so 1) hazard warning lights. Presume it doesn't do it when you indicate either way? If so, it's probably a bulb. If not, it's likely to be a relay. I'm not 100% where they are though...soz!
2)Dial with the dots...I guess you mean the in dash wheels? The top one is temperature - left is hot, right is cold (it takes a good few (circa 15-20) seconds to cool down though, have patience!) The bottom wheel controls where the air flows, top (screen) middle (vents) or bottom (footwell). If you really can't stand it, you can press the button which adjusts fan speed which turns it off altogether.
3) I have no idea but you can talk to Carl Baker (07720 723407) who will probably be happy to help. He's worked on over 8000 TVR's and knows the electrics very well.
4) I think you'll do a lot of searching and will need Lady Luck on your side but there may be some available somewhere, maybe ebay?
Hope some of that helps anyway!
