Anyone out there change the suspension to poly bushes on their Chim. If so are they a great improvment and worth the cost?

Depends on how bad the ones on the car are

Changed mine as part of a chassis refurb. Getting the old ones out is quite a job !

There is a masive diference in handeling now but i did fit Gaz Gold Pros at the same time and have the geometery set up, so i cant really tell haw much difference the bushes have made.

Also changed mine as part of the refurb. Cant really say i have noticed any difference in handling. Having said that i would not go back to the originals. There is some work in removing the originals and i suspect a bit of work pressing new oe ones back in. The beauty with the poly bushes are that they just easily press into place, no special tools required and if they ever need replacing its a simple job to remove them again.

Replaced mine when I changed the wishbones all around.
Must agree they are an easy fit.

What difference it makes i am not able to tell because everything was changed, wishbones, bushes, shocks, springs etc.

So my handling know is great after a geo setup.
the only thing i mentioned, what could be caused by the bushes is that it is a bit more quiet in the car, less noise from the suspension.
