Went to see this film last night, which is based on an excellent book by David Nicholls. Despite the book referring to the guy in it driving a Mazda, he is seen driving a lovely Chimaera in a couple of scenes.

Brought a smile to my face anyway - rare the TVR hits Hollywood.

Does anyone know of any other films where it's featured?!

Rik Mayall drove a nice green Griffith in a drama he did with Helena Bonham-Carter. Memorable scene where he gave it a liitle bit too much right pedal.

Good information,

David Nicholls or the director has taste and it will be with a big smile that I will tell this tonight to my mrs...

You see, my mrs is not the biggest Chimaera or TVR fan in the country, but David Nicholls is a friend of hers (has a signed copy on "One Day" hard back book at home - I only met the guy once for a drinks the day of the book launch)...

Maybe she will change her mind about the Chimaera. I will also try to find out if it his David's Chimaera in the movie (who knows...).

I'm also planning to go out of town (London) for the bank holiday with the Mrs in the Chimaera and will make her drive the car for a bit (she has only been the passenger so far, so maybe making her drive the car will make her like it more...?).
