Discussion

I did this and bought my 450 in early March, just ahead of the spring price rise frenzy. The car needed a few things doing to it that I completed during the next few weeks and then had it up and running for the better weather

I was in the exact same position as you last year, I had decided i DEFINAELY wanted a 430 though so waited it out, ended up buying one off a member on here who had seen my posts and hadnt even advertised his car for sale, think I bought it about march time in the end.
Its worth waiting to get the one you want.Once you finally decide to tack the plunge its hard to hold back. But as I am sure you have read tons of posts on here about the subject already. Buy one that has been loved and cherished, perfect history (annual service minimum) , best possible condition and you will, I believe have the fastest-best-value-best-looking-car money can buy.
With this in mind , any time of year is a good time if the right car comes along. Good luck.

Hi Ewan,
I have been toying with the idea of selling my Chimaera for the last few months, but it's not currently being advertised anywhere as I can't quite bring myself to do it
. It is a 2001 4.5 with 28K on the clock. It had done 12K when I got her so I am only the 2nd owner (for the last 6 years). Annual services (every 2-3K miles or so) originally at Harrogate Horseless Carriages but with TrackvRoad since I got her. If you are interested contact me, though I just can't promise at this stage that I will be persuaded to let her go, just yet. Regards....Martin
