Guys,

My new TVR has been at main dealers (according to the history) for various idling probs.
Can anyone recommend a good specialist independant that they have used....I know Westover and Peninsular but much prefer a smaller enthusiastic specialist? Thanks

Hi ho Exuberbob.

I'm out in the sticks on the Isle of Purbeck and didn't fancy Westover for various reasons.

I ended up using David Batty; bit of a way to go but reasonable prices and a nice bloke.

I'll keep an eye out for you if I make the trek over to you townies at any time.

What colour/reg?

Then Peninsula are just the people for you.
All the benefits of a dealer, combined with all the benefits of a small enthusiastic specialist.

Hi Prunus,

Any particular reasons why you don't use Westover? Did you have a bad experience with them. Only reason I ask is that they have done the last two services on my car and I am thinking of taking it elsewhere next service.

No particular reason, other than I'm a scruffy, skint, oik and don't feel that I really fit their customer profile.

However, Westover Bodyshop did a fantastic job on some scratches for me and were nice people from start to finish.
