Hi. I have just discovered nasty mayo in the rocker covers whilst checking the oil levels.
I do not loose lots of coolant, not have any excessive smoke/steam from exhausts, not have power loss etc
I have a small leak in the bottom corner of the rad but loose about 1cm of water from the expansion tank over two weeks of everyday use.The last owner had the head gasket(s????) done in november 2010 but by looking at the them I would say only one side was done as it is nice and clean siler whist the other side is bronzed.
I have just put the car in the garage having lived on the drive all summer.
Could this be condensation?
I have stripped the injection off and now able to see the camshaft etc, about to take the heads off but cannot find any mayo anywhere but the rocker tops. PS when i removed the rocker covers, not having driven the car for 2 weeks, they were literally dripping with beads of water??
Any advice would be appreciated as about to dive in further over next week and get to the head gaskets.
Cheers

To check if this is condensation as you suspect, I'd clean out as much as you possibly can, stick it on the road and go for a good drive around.
If the oil is still good after a really good run out you put it down to condensation.
I'm sure there is another way of confirming all is OK, but that's my simple way and from your description it does sound like it could be.
