Went to Harewood house today ,had a good day until the return trip..

On return i noticed a clang type noise at the rear when gently accelerating from an island.
Then found when i pressed the accelerator a loose feeling and then a clunk .I can make this happen by quicky pressing the accelerator..

Also at very low speeds even out of gear there is a constant clunking and judder

Something is seriously wrong.!

Help and advice needed

Is it a new propshaft or can it be repaired ..Maybe its Santa Pod and the track day what did the damage.

Or 340bhp has made it unreliable and the drive train can't cope with the power wink

I would check every Nut and bolt in the whole drive train in tight first.

have you got the Sh drop links?? Mine had come undone slightly and that caused a knocking, quick nip up job done.

Its more than a knock ! more like free play through the drive,at low speeds in and out of gear a knocking noise in relation to speed..
