Another dumb question!

The retaining nut for the power cables on the starter motor solinoid has gone AWOL.

After trying a dozen nuts, no joy.

Does anyone know size and thread no I can obtain one?

If you get stuck you can pop round and borrow mine to find a copy or measure it

Should be a stock M8 nut,is on the Bosch unit.

Hi Derek

I have been working every evening since returning from holiday.
Engine and box in 99% connected. Doesn't it take longer then you think!
Busy Saturday but should run her up on Sunday..................if all goes to plan!
I'm glad your "new" engine is performing well, hope all this work is a benifit, looks clean if nothing else!
