I think what makes it most pethetic is that not only do you start possibly the lamest thread in the history of Chimaera v Griffith banter, but you then come back to your enclosure and start another lame thread about how you've managed to start a lame thread in the Griffith forum rolleyes

Fair play if your banter was any good, but the best banter is in regards to the points of issue and history, not some random advert that you could apply to any TVR owner.

If I were a Chimaera owner I'd be most embarassed about the lame thread that one owner seems to be claiming credit for, rather than the hilarious and insightful banter started by one of the forum members.

The irony of course is that as a Griffith owner you will think that I have posted this because I am not happy about it, quite the opposite, just if I am going to read threads I don't want to waste my time with the rubbish and this one was possibly the worst to date. To read the banter is entertaining when it is good, I will now know to avoid yours.

Chief speller, this is a new one on me. . .

If you can find a single post of mine where I have ever criticised anyones spelling then please highlight it to me, as you are obviously fastidious in your application of spell checker . . You crack on Mad Max.

You are after all the road warrior, not chopping in the road for a keyboard are you?

Far from it, just if there is going to be banter (and please consider my father actually owns a Chimaera and therefore banter is a regular feature of family occassions) then at least lets make it good banter. Also why chase the credit for it on another forum, maybe if it was any good I could understand, but it's not.

Then chief fastidious officer turns up and gets all personal as to my spelling . . Well my excuse is I have to type on an AZERTY keyboard, not a QWERTY keyboard and spend my day speaking/typing French and English, so sometimes I get it wrong in the few lins I spend on PH each day.

What I haven't got is such a quiet and boring life to knit pick on peoples spelling, just when what little time I get is wasted with rubbish posts, which then turn up again in the next forum I look at, I decided this morning I would make a comment. Seems to have had the desired efect hehe

generously I have provided further and increasingly ample opporunity for people to selectively quote again

I think you need to cut him some slack Johno.yes He's started far lamer threads than this in the pasthehe

And I'll bet you didn't know his chimp has 339.99999999999 BHP...
Before it gets out of hand you have to understand it's just a bit of fun. Some people are better at it than others [debatable]. If you've met DAZ you'll know he's harmless and a bit of a character and can take a LOT more stick on the chin than some more 'established' members that I know and with a smile. hippy
After all, there only cars and exactly the same underneath.
