How does it come off!

Sorry just picked it up and the manuals etc are not here. (At my dads house)

My Boxster I pull a handle and press a button. This doesn't look so straight forward.

Silly question I know, I apologise in advance!

Thanks

PS, took me ten minutes to find the window switches!

The two big aluminium stays behind the seats are hinged in the middle. Sit in the car and pull the stays towards you, this will release the rear hood which you can push back a bit, then the targa panel can be removed. The panel will support itself quite happily on the windscreen frame without the rear hood. If you are folding the rear hood right down, release the velcro flaps at the side first.

You may find the internal vanity mirrors are not as highly polished as those on a Griff, either, and they won't have those little light bulbs twinkling all around them.

To the OP, just in case you're not aware, we suffer occasional intrusions from chest wig wearing medallion toting comedians from the Griffith forum who believe that Chim owners only drive their cars with the hood up. Aside from their strange dress habits, they also suffer from poor eyesight, and hence poor judgement when it comes to automotive styling. We tell them to go to specsavers but they don't listen wink Oh, and a rolled up something (towel or similar) placed on and acroos the rear screen before folding it right back should help to avoid creases....

not that chimp owners keep towels, or indeed any other hair care paraphernalia in our cars...

Unfortunately I was sunning myself in Greece and my dad collected it. Though he is now on holiday too!

I have only done about ten miles today most of it quite carefully. I am planning a quick Peaks run out tomorrow. The few times I have given it more than 4k revs the thing is mad compared to my Boxster S.

Is it me or are they meant to feel like they want to do 100+ all the time!?

I don't mean to sound patronising but just take it easy till your used to it! they have a tendency to bite due to the power to weight (or lack of weight)over the rear wheels and no driver aids,

Got to be a 500 vs a boxster 3.2 if the OP feels a big difference......, either that or swayed by the impression of rather than true speed....

450, with Plenum and Chip upgrade. Recent print out of 255 BHP. It also is de-silenced adding to the noise.

Could be a bit of the latter with the Porsche being so much quieter, even though it has PSE.

Like I say I haven't really given it too much right foot yet, but I will be a little more careful to start with, I can tell already it seems a little livelier. I have had a Caterham before too so I am sure I will get used to it.

You bought a convertible TVR without knowing how the roof comes off or seeing if the electric windows work?
