Ronseal No Rust instead of Waxoyl?

Ronseal No Rust supposedly prevents rust for 6 years.

Do you think it would be suitable for the chassis, instead of Waxoyl?

You could use as an alternative to Hammerite but personally I've found it's easier to chip/scratch off.

Waxoyl is a waterproof coating to protect the paint and any exposed steel. It's best to have both paint and waxoyl.

They are not the same thing at all. If mealwork exposed clean down and hammerite. Then and on an annual basis anyway give the whole chassis a good coat of waxoyl but do so when it's clean and dry.
