Problems after Service

After the last service done on my Chimaera 5litre has an idling problem. When cold the engine nearly stalls at 200-400 rpm, when hot it idles around 800-1200 with A/C off and around 600-700 with A/C on. Before Service there have been absolutely no such symptoms.

Things done so far; checked stepper-motor, cleaned it and replaced it with a new one for testing and changed the lampda sensors with no positive effect. The coolant sensor has been changed around 400 km ago.

I also had the feeling (not sure though) that the car is using more fuel.

Any ideas?

Out of interest where did you go for the service? Sounds like a very similair situation to mine

In Switzerland unfortunatly. It's the only place in Switzerland. Eventhough they are auite expensive, normally thing go well. But this really is a little bit strange.

Sid cou have any ideas what it could be?

The only thing I can suggest is get the car back to the dealer and ask them to run a diagnostic check. Hopefully it will pull up a fault code and you can tackle the problem from there.

Most of the guys on here are experts, Iam not. so wait for some of the others to post, they may well know the answer.
