Alice has got the electrical doctor coming tomorrow morning at 10am (no electric to fuel pump). Suspect he might get on better with a circuit diagram. If anybody has got one that they could fax to me Alice would be eternally grateful. Fax number 01296 317833

Mike, if you still need it I'll scan the wiring diagram from the Steve Heath book and email that to you ?

Can't get the fax to work via PC.
Off out now (4pm) but can do it this evening.

Email on it's way.

Found a bit on the fuel cut off switch - sounds a possible culprit - inertia switch located in passenger footwell. Will send that page too.

Steve Heath TVR Griff & Chimaera book - £35 from any bookshop or TVR club website. Money worth spending.

Make sure one of the spade connectors supplying power to the fuel pump isn't loose/corroded/disconnected. It could easily happen. Pump hides on the chassis, inside the NSR wheel.

If this is the fuel pump it starts and runs for 20 seconds and then dies, then the inertia switch is not at fault. If this is tripped, the fuel pump doesn't even prime as the switch disconnects it.

If anyone could mail me a copy of a engine electric diagram for a chimaera/griffith 4.0 -93/-94 i´d be more than happy. I friend of mine is just putting a Chim/Griff 4.0 in his 350i(about the same price as replacing the faulty ECU ) but Steves book has not yet arrived(first they must print it) and the summer is getting SHORT for him. (track day only 2 weeks ahead)
