As part of the new engine install, I stripped the plenum for powder coating and have assembled the twiddly bits in a random fashion.

Question.

Setting up idle.
I believe you have to disconnect the hose from the stepper blank off the inlet on the plenem and adjust the idle to about 500 rpm using the air bleed screw, is that correct?

Throttle pot sensor.
Can't remember what to do, something about 1.7 volts across a couple of wires, which ones?

Can someone confirm or advise of the correct method?

Cheers.

Block the hose to the stepper with a bung of some sort, or clamp it shut so no air gets to the stepper. Then set the base idle to 500-700 rpm (I recommend a nearer 700 rpm). The other setting is the CO trim, and makes bu**ger all difference to cars with Lambda probes, its ignored.
