diff level plug

Anyone on here know where the level plug is on the diff on a 4.5L chim as was attempting to check this last weekend on a friends Chim on my garage lift. A pic would be even better if poss.

It depends on whether you have the GKN or the BTR diff; I think the changeover was in 1996 and the earlier cars had the GKN which can be identified by the heavy finning. The filler plug on these is high up at the back amongst the fins and difficult to reach. I used a piece of 1/2" square rod,which fits the plug,and which I bent to reach around the chassis parts which get in the way.
I can't tell you where the filler plug is on the BTR, but I'm sure someone can!

This diff has fins so it sounds like the earlier type .
