Just a quicky - I've fibreglass damage to the rear of the car (bumper) and also a tear in the plastic rear window when it was vandalised. My insurance is fully comp, I assume it'll cover the smash (the 3rd party drove off, I just found it damaged in my communal parking bay) - but unsure if it will cover the vandalised plastic tear?

Cheers

A fully-comp policy should cover vandalism under normal circumstances. You may have to report it to the Police in order to get a crime number from them - the insurance company might want that, mainly to confirm the vandalism is genuine.

Vandalism used to be covered but on renewal this year, I was surprised to note that many companies are now advertising that their policy includes vandalism cover, as many have now dropped this from their comprehensive cover.
Hope yours has it included kbj.
