Colin, nice to meet you too, i borrowed it on test from hilton and moss , stansted, who will sell it.
i am trying it the other way round tomorrow, if i choose not to keep the straight through i could tell them you are interested possibly?
how many times did you get lost today?
:-)

Sleeved IMO sounds a little too agricultural at idle for my liking. I bet it sounded fairly epic for TiTT though!

Clive F Decat Y, no precats and standard back box sounds really nice IMO.

Hi Matt, Bearing in mind that mine is a 400,I only want to "tweak" it so it,s a bit more raunchy with a fair bit of throttle.500,s are already raunchier on idle so would a straight through on mine make it sound like a 500 ?Or am I talking out of my a**e. I dont really want to go the whole hog and basically re-new the whole system. Also if I do a straight through and dont like it I can change it back.

Hey Colin hope you are well.

The best thing you can do is either try of listen to others untill you find the right sound. As I said in the similar thread in the Griff section, exhuast sound is a very personal thing what is sound to one person is noise to another.

I went out with a number of people before deciding what to do with mine. My conclusions are in my post on this thread:

Doing some research is definitely a good shout, find the one you like a replicate it..... no nasty suppress then!

I am not sure if engine size makes too much difference. The Griff in the video is a 4.0 but is sounds very similar to my 5.0 with a similar system fitted.

I have a friends wedding to attend on Sunday so unfortunately I will not be able to make the meet. See you at the November meet?
