Wool Carpets

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if there was an easy way to tell if my carpets are woolen, or just the standard ones?
Are the woolen ones much thicker?

Poke them, if they go Baa they are new wool.

The polyester carpet I've handled feels sort of crunchy when you press on it, if that makes sense? Wool feels a lot softer.

Doesn't water ride on top of polyester abut soak into wool. That's how house carpet goes.

Hahaha, seems a bit of a rubbish optional extra if only the original owner would know, and nobody else could tell!

I think you can only get carpet burns off polyester carpet.
