Any specific reason why you'd want to move it ?

You can adjust the pedals themselves or get extensions which is what I've had to do seeing as I suffer from 'short arse syndrome'.

Not sure about actually moving the 'box' I'm afraid.

Keith,
Might be a daft question but why do you want to move the pedal box forward?

I know this feeling well, but if you can just reach the pedals on the standard set up then you'll be absolutely fine with the long extensions. No need to move the box, trust me.

Ah I see now, you want to move the pedal box backwards - as in towards the back of the car - as opposed to forwards as in towards the front!

Strange concept that, "forwards towards the rear".

Apparently Elton has an annual auction...

Alternatively, I am sure if I dig far enough into my old suit case, I have one pair of 3 inch circa 1980; if sufficient motivation were offered wink

I read in several places in original TVR literature that the pedal box was adjustable on the Chimaera, and was quoted some fairly silly figure by the TVR dealer when I enquired about it.
I have since decided that mine is perfect; i.e. the gf can't reach the pedals.

The seat runners can be unbolted from the seat base and moved forward,in my opinion this would accomodate a 5ft nothing person quite easily, all thats need is a socket and spanner,no redrilling floors or un-reversable alterations neccesary.

The pedal box bolts to the fibreglass tub in 2 places. Through the inner wing, up by the windscreen where there are 4 bolts, and through the lower wing where 2 bolts fit through the wheelarch.

So no, you can't move the pedal box I'm afraid.

I'm a complete shortarse at 5'6". My Chim pedals are set at around the mid-point on their screw threads and the driving position is just fine.
