Does anyone know what BHP the standard pump will cope with.Im after a new one but don`t know which one to go for .Are the connection sizes 12mm inlet and 8 or 10 outlet ..Would a larger pump push to much fuel in or will the regulator stop this ..i don`t want to have it remapped.

Are the after market ones ok or should i stick with Bosch.

Don't waste your money on ebay tat. If you want a new fuel pump get a Bosch 044, a proper 044 not some aftermarket rip-off, Bosch part number 0580 254 044 should be under £150 delivered.

As a quick fag packet calculation 35lbhr@3bar is 367.5cc/min (which the megamanual reckons is good for 475hp)
8 injectors at 367.5cc/min is 2.94litres/min at 100% duty cycle
IIRC the 044 gives 300l/hr at 3bar
300l/hr = 5litres/min

So the 044 is more than good enough for 340hp and the pressure regulator will still control the flow.

Yes. Genuine all the way.
This is not something to risk trying to save money on Daz IMHO.

I also fitted a Weber Alpha 3.5 bar regulator. Not cheap again at a further £90 but now i know my fuel is consistant and reliable to feed the injectors and my nitrous system.

I am still running standard injectors btw. I may look into getting those you have over the winter scratchchin

I went for a Walbro equivalent...

It's quieter than the Bosch, felt good quality too - the ends where the fuel line connects up were metal as opposed to the plastic ones on the original.

I've generally measure the life expectancy of Walbro pumps in laps rather than miles, months or years. Never had a Bosch fail on me that wasn't being abused - that said I still run two in the racer just in case!
