Hi,
When I bought the Chimaera, it had a lovely leather smell inside. I use Autoglymn leather cleaner and feeder but that smell has totally gone. Is there a better feeder that has the lovely leather smell too. It made it feel so much more luxurious.

I used to use Belvoir Leather Balsam, lovely smell but can be overpowering if you get carried away.

all jokes aside, i asked this question when i had another car with leather, and the best result was to buy a cheap leather item of clothing and hide it under the seat....it worked better than any treatment

I was told by a dealer he used to cut a fresh piece and staple it under the seats, the best way to get that smell back and easy to replace.

Or if you don't fancy doing it yourself, you could always take a Griff owner for a ride and let natural incontinence take its course. You'll also end up with the unmistakable aroma of stale Brut.

or..... all the chim owners have a trade tent at the next griff growl and all the griff drivers slowly drive thru and we can recreate the smell of new leather aswell as peeing all over them biglaugh

Well, finally got round to using the liquid leather on the seats this weekend.
Was very dissapointed with the cleaner. It didn't really lift the dirt well at all. Even after three repeat applications, using a nail brush to work it in, hot water and over 2 hours of elbow grease just on the driver's seat, the seat still looks dirty. Bizarrely the side panel of the seat did come up clean and appears to be a different material. Did TVR use vinyl for the seat side panels and leather for the back and base ?

The cleaner also came out like a jelly rather than a liquid, which makes it difficult to apply to a vertical panel. Is that normal or has my bottle of stuff gone off ? Only bought it at the end of last year.
