Engine still rough.......arrrgh!!!
Discussion
Well, after replacing the temp sensor(SNB 802) and cleaning the stepper motor and checking plugs /leads are secure its still not right. When cold its fine, then once up to about 90C it starts stuttering at low revs (under 2500) with part throttle, with full throttle it clears and picks up ok.
Is there anything else fairly simple i can check/ replace before i take it to a specialist?
Is it possible for leads or coil to misbehave once hot?
I would really appreciate some help/ suggestions with this.
Thanks
Andy

I would say quite likely, a TVR engine bay is a hostile environment, coils when on the way out are normally worse when hot.
What make is the coil ? are the leads old ?
Tim
Thanks Tim
Its a Bosch coil, the leads, going by the history, are about 18 months old no particular make.

Bosch coils are the best, and very reliable, if the leads were cheap, could cause problems, before you spend any more money it might be worth going for a diagnostic session.

Yep i think its getting to that stage now. I cant see that the coil has ever been replaced, could it be worth doing, are they expensive?
Also would the coil or leads not show fault when under full load rather than when tootling along. There does appear to be a bit of oil at the rear of the coil(symptom according to bible) but it is near an oil breather pipe so not too sure
Thanks
