Trying to write this without giving to much away to potential theives.

On the bottom of the Key Barrell their is a white plastic bit, of which mines broken.

Anyone know if it can be replaced without changing the whole barrell and where I might get said part?

Thanks in advance

If its the piece Iam thinking of then its also broken on mine, I posted a question a while back, but nobody knew for sure. It does have a GM symbol on the plastic so is just a standard vauxhall barrel, question is what model its from. I used to work at a vauxhall garage so I asked one of the old parts lads and he told me to take out the barrel complete and he'd work it out for me. Problem is Ive just not got round to it, is on my never ending winter jobs list though!

For the electrical part, not sure if that helps?

Had a look on the interweb with that part number and looking at the various pictures I can not see the white clip on any of them.

Looks like the hunt continues

Thanks but I think both of those relate to the igintion barrell rather than the lock at the rear of the car which opens the door.

The bit im after connects the cable to the lock at the boot end.

Does this make sense?

Yes, mine doesnt have one.

So I'll shut up now. If nothing else it has kept it 'bumped'.
