seat belts

hi there anything i can do about my passenger side belt sometimes when i try and pull it out it just locks and can take minutes to get out .if i did need to get a new one where is the best place to go ?.

My drivers side belt used to this , it would just lock up when trying to put it on and not release until you drove up a hill

A sharp whack with a last year and it's been fine ever since.

Make sure the actual real behind the seat has not gone cockeyed and is level. Mine is very sensitive and if it is not level it can stick like yours.

i will look tomorrow if mine is level i did remove it when i fitted my roll bar so might not of put it back level if not as suggested i,l get the hammer out .

I have had a similar problem from new; if the car is on slightly more of a sideways slant than it likes, it is near impossible.

Get the car flat(ish)/level, and it's fine.

Mine was sticking when I bought the car a few months ago. Gave it a good thump and its been fine since.

been out to have a look at the belts today took carsy's advice and made sure that the reel is level moved it a bit works great now thanks.

Maybe mine were installed crooked at the factory. I best go look.
I would swear they told me "TVRs do that"

pull on the belt if it locks then try moving the reel it worked on mine.
