ECU problem

I have a part of my 14cux breaking down on me

My air fuel ratio swings from 8:1 all the way to 18:1 and you can even feel it jumping ratio's

Any ideas which part of the system could making it change that much?

That's way outside any trim values the ECU can make, but the major item that controls the amount of fuel is the AFM output. This can go high at low air volumes and cause major over fueling, but I would expect a fault code to be thrown from the ECU if things are so far out. Get a fault reader plugged in to start with.
