It looks so good ... in white

White will always represents future (blame Apple?) I suppose it also exposes 'lines' and joins in car panels. The Chimaera looks great in white because its one sultry curve I guess, no door handles etc - with white you demand attention on the design aesthetic, bit like black with white type (Gucci), all attention is toward the identity and theres no design 'noise'. The Chimaera in white looks like its been morphed from mercury, its so organic.
Look at the new Range Rover Evoque, I cant imagine it in any other colour but white:

When I look at that car, I look at the black and how beautiful those lines are and the distinction between the windows and body - you get that beautiful black curve all around the vehicle.
I loved the fact TVR have the door panel 'gill' at the front because it was easier to have that than worry about panels meeting perfectly. Design by magnificent error and necessity.
Oooh, I've gone all Andy Warhol ...

Update to myself: "in 1996 .... the wire front grill was replaced by the split intake design from the Cerbera. The door locks were replaced with an under wing-mirror design, the rear bumper strip and boot lid were re-designed and the boot hinges replaced along with the rear light clusters."

You have just listed all the reasons I didn't look at pre-96/97 cars when I was shopping around. If you then list the headlight covers and tuscan seats, and PAS included as standard, you would list all the reasons I didn't order a new car the next year after buying mine.
It must have been fated.

Aside from the trimmings GB, you've the 5L lump in your Chim ..... and that beats my 4.0HC hands (pants?) down
It's just that there was a lot more choice then; including waiting 3 months for a new one...
And... you can keep your pants up thanks

.. but from the side... Mmmmm... does look good!
, well the black bumper strip thingy does crash the party somewhat. My 97 Chim doesn't have this, anyone know what year they stopped producing with that strip?
