ok just trying to figure how water is getting in from the roof, it makes its way in I'm guessing at the front seal as its dropping down from around the drivers visor area onto my drivers seat but cant see any damaged seals or anything, any ideas?

Cheers!

is the roof on properly... ie the nothc on the roof front located around the pin so it sits snuggly...... if not it wont't make a good seal

It may be a bit too obvious, but have you cleaned it, and waterproofed it with (I use Autoglym) convertible top sealant?

Water has been known to find it's way, albeit usually quite slowly, through the roof fabric itself.

It is however fairly unusual AFAIK to have noticeable leak there.
If that (sealing/treating) fails to resolve it, an experienced TVR mechanic / garage is often the best bet in these situations.
They may have a different perspective on "...damaged seals or anything..." than those of us who have only really had one or two TVRs to look after.
